Version 2.1

Reaching to families and individuals. Pointing them to the One Jesus Christ.

Jesus came from heaven to the earth, born as a baby to a virgin named Mary so that He could show us how to live a sinless life here on earth.  We celebrate this event every Christmas.   But then, He died a savage death on a cross as preplanned so that He could be the supreme sacrifice for the world's wrongs and disobedience, redeeming us to right standing with a holy God and be considered a child of God and live in His presence forever.

Meet the One Jesus Christ!

Did you know that God the creator of the universe and His Son, Jesus Christ wants to have a personal relationship with you?  Did you know that was possible?

  1. God has high standards and we haven't lived up to them.  This is called sin.

  1. The price (or consequences) for not living up to God's standards (sin) is ultimately death both physical and spiritual (eternal separation from God).

  1. God's love for man is so great that Jesus Christ, God's Son, came to earth and gave or sacrificed His life to pardon our disobedience to God's standards.

  1. We are promised eternal life if we believe in Jesus Christ's sacrifice and we are saved.  By this we also commit to do all we can to live in obedience to God's standards.

  1. Life without standards is like a game without rules.  By accepting God's sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ, we are now in relationship with Him and we gain so much (peace, direction, purpose and more) because we now know the rules.  It's like the banker in monopoly that gives you the whole bank and the rule book all at once and helps you win the game.

Gaining understanding!

As the Scriptures say, "No one is righteous-not even one. No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one." ... For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard. (NLT)

Romans 3:10-12, and 23

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.(NLT)

Romans 6:23

But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. (NLT)

Romans 5:8

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved ... For "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (NLT)

Romans 10:9-10, and 13

Therefore, since we have been made right in God's sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. (NLT)

Romans 5:1

So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. (NLT)

Romans 8:1

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow-not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below-indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. (NLT)

Romans 8:38-39

And this is the way to have eternal life-to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.

John 17:3 (NLT)

For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.   John 3:16 (NLT)

Your Response!

If you believe the statements above lead to the path of truth, your response today to God's free gift is to follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Admit you have not been living up to God's standards or not trying.
  2. Understand that this disobedience will leave you deserving death.
  3. Believe Jesus Christ sacrificed His life to obtain forgiveness for your disobedience and save you from deserving death.
  4. Change your purpose and direction towards God and His standards as outlined in the Bible and leave those things that are in disobedience to God's standards.
  5. Accept the free gift of salvation by believing in Jesus Christ with this prayer (hover mouse over this section).

Father God,

Today I make a decision to receive Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of my life. I turn from my actions and thoughts that are against God's standards outlined in the Bible's teachings and ask You to forgive me. Thank You for loving me so much that You gave Your Son, Jesus Christ, for me so that I now have a new start and receive the promise of eternal life, thereby I can be called your child. Today, I give You my life. Take it and use me to bring honor to You in any way You desire. I will serve You through obedience to the Bible's teachings all the days of my life and willingly yield myself to You and your Holy Spirit's prompting in my mind and heart.  Fill me now with Your Holy Spirit so I can live a life pleasing to You.  In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Now What?

  1. The relationship begins.  You are now a follower of Christ, a Christian.
  2. Tell someone of your decision as soon as possible.
  3. It takes time for your relationship with God to grow.  While some changes may be immediate others will take time.
  4. Expose yourself to God's teachings.
  5. Relationships require focus.  You think of that special person often.  Begin to think of God and His teachings often.
  6. Recognize right from wrong by listening to the voice within you, the Holy Spirit, who will guide you towards truth.

Please let us know of your decision.
